This won't be a long or glamorous post, just one to welcome those who are visiting because Blogmutt is presenting at the Boulder Denver New Tech Meetup tonight. (I've been coming for a while, and you can actually kind of see me sitting next to Brad Feld in the background photo for that site, but Josh Churlik's big head is right in front of mine.)
As I tweeted from my personal account earlier, this is an opportunity to donate blood! (The BDNT crowd, and the incomparable Robert Reich, make a point of showering affection on startups the way the Lions had affection for the Christians.)
But it's all in good fun and the BDNT crowd is certainly part of the ecosystem in Boulder that lives and breathes startups.
Do the writers really like it? All I can tell you is that we have dozens of them, and they keep coming back and more apply every single day and we aren't advertising for them at all. (If interested, check out this page.)
Can we really get big, fast? The answer to that question is easy when you think about these couple of points:
I spent years as a writer and editor, and wrote a nonfiction book before starting BlogMutt with Wade back in 2011. I love words, and I love working with the amazing staff and dedicated writers of BlogMutt who also love words, and know the power that they have. Also, this quote: "I love deadlines," Douglas Adams said. "I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by."
