OK, BlogMutt isn't really everywhere, but we are getting some nice attention.
FoxBusiness.com did a nice write-up about BlogMutt. This was a Q&A kind of a story, just the facts, etc. The reporter did a good job asking questions, and it's always great reaching a national audience.
We also got a number of tweets, mentions, links, etc. from Denver Startup Week. I was able to participate in a bunch of events, and I have to say I enjoyed all of it very much. The organizers did a fantastic job weaving dozens of events together, and it all just worked out exceptionally well.
Finally, on a more personal note, my wife, Kathy, and I recently wrote a guest blog post for Startup Revolution, a new project of Brad Feld. Brad, with his wife, Amy, have written a whole book on the relationship of an entrepreneur and his/her spouse. This essay was along the same theme, and we were happy to do our part to increase the dialogue about what can be a sensitive issue.
The theme of the post is that your spouse is your first investor. If this topic is interesting for you, I hope you'll take the time to read it and share it with those you know who might find some help there.
I spent years as a writer and editor, and wrote a nonfiction book before starting BlogMutt with Wade back in 2011. I love words, and I love working with the amazing staff and dedicated writers of BlogMutt who also love words, and know the power that they have. Also, this quote: "I love deadlines," Douglas Adams said. "I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by."
